Istanbul Set to Host Trilateral Talks Between Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia
The meeting will be chaired by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and attended by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili.
During the talks, the three officials are expected to assess the current level of cooperation among their countries while discussing opportunities to expand collaboration in key areas of mutual interest.
According to reports, the agenda is expected to include discussions on regional developments, foreign policy coordination, and cooperation across the South Caucasus. The ministers are also set to address transportation links, regional connectivity projects, and efforts to strengthen transit corridors across the region.
Energy security, trade relations, and measures aimed at enhancing economic partnerships are also expected to feature prominently in the discussions.
Reports indicate that Fidan is likely to underline the increasing strategic significance of the South Caucasus at a time of growing geopolitical uncertainty, economic pressures, and evolving security concerns, highlighting the importance of deeper regional coordination among the three neighboring countries.
